My brother and my sister-in-law, Jonathan and Deborah have given Carmen a wonderful gift! Tickets to see Lion King, the musical! Actually, it will be Deborah, Carmen and ME! Jonathan wasn’t interested in seeing it. His loss-my gain! But what do expect from a little brother who used to “pants” my Raggedy Ann doll!? Ironically, it was twelve years ago this month that her daddy and I took her to see Lion King, the movie for her third birthday. Seems like yesterday. She’s been drawing lions ever since (and lots of other wonderful things!).

We need to go shopping this morning to get her something to wear to the show, but right now I’ve been visiting Mimi’s blog. She has finished her latest doll, Ione. So darling. Go look.
