This morning I had to drive up to the county seat in Auburn to get a readable copy of a deed (yes, this is the kind of glamorous job I have!). When I left Roseville it had just finished raining and was a little overcast. As I drove up the mountain, the weather was increasingly icky. By the time I got to Auburn, it was very foggy and wet and quite scary to drive in! To make it worse, when I got to the County Offices, there were pedestrians hiding in the fog! A white knuckle trip, to be sure! Happily, I didn’t run over anyone and as I made my way back into my flatland, the sun came out. The sky now is a lovely shade of bright blue. Even though our office is in a light industrial park, I’m fortunate enough to have a window wall and along the street past the parking lot are some tall fir trees. Here’s the view when I turn my head:
So, I’m grateful for the sunshine and grateful for a safe drive and trying not to worry too much about dental woes. What are you grateful for today?
