I have been web hunting today, looking for more examples of Queen Anne dolls. Now that I’ve read Hitty, I am in danger of becoming a Hitty fanatic! I’m now interested in all things to do with wooden dolls. The peg woodens are so charming too! In my swap with Cindy we are making an Estelle Ansley-Worrell Old Timey doll. We are making her Hitty size. I hope she will like mine! It’s looking less like the pattern and more like MY version of a peg wooden! And I noticed today that Mimi Kirchner’s dolls have the look of Queen Annes even though they are made entirely of cloth. It’s those sweet faces she puts on them!
Anyway, all of this to say that I found a website with hints, tips and techniques for making doll clothes. Go check it out!
