No, I didn’t buy a new television, I discovered a new channel. I gotta say, I think it is the coolest channel ever. It’s called Current and it is unlike anything else. It doesn’t have programs- it has pods. Pods are only 5-10 minutes long, but the coolest thing about them is that they are viewer created! Almost all the programming is created by viewers. The viewers upload pods to the Current website. It goes through a process of being viewed and voted upon there. The ones with the highest scores go on to be broadcast on tv. The pods are introduced by the channel’s producers who are all young and hip and cool. I could not tear myself away from it last night. Really compelling stuff. Go. See.
