I sure didn’t mean to be so long between posts! I am in the midst of a great battle. Inside of me bacteria and antibiotics are battling in my sinuses. Everybody is in there, kung fu fighting. Leaving me exhausted!
Earl’s graduation party was a big success. I think he really had a good time. I know I did and I hope our guests did too even thought the house was still pretty crusty from a semester of neglect. I must say, taking those classes was very fun and challenging in many ways, but trying, as well. Especially for a humble little homebody like me. I tried to explain to Earl how I felt, but he wasn’t getting it. I love my home. I love to play house and cook and clean and make things. My greatest frustration comes from not having enough time to do those things. So, after the party, I channeled the spirit of Donna Reed for a few days and then this sinus infection got the best of me. I’m looking forward to feeling better because I have lots of lovely projects I want to work on.
In the meantime, here are some photos from the party:
Three degrees will earn you three cakes! (all in different flavors, of course!)
Chef Carmen makes her grilling debut!
The Detentions (Steve, Mike, Kathy, Katie) rocked the house with their cool blues-y rock sound!
And one more thing…if you’ve ever wondered if Mime Artists were a thing of the past, Buddy would like to reassure you that mumming is alive and well as you can see from his latest performance, “The Silly Dog”:
Wishing well to all of you! Hugs!
